This knife is from the second production, well accally it's third production. The second production had problems with the heat treatment, so it was all thrown out. Original knife. used, but in great condition.
The sheath is an after market sheath I had made for me out of Ireland. It has a fire steal loop and a stone sheath.

The Woodlore Knife was originally designed by Ray Mears and is hand-made by Alan Wood, one of the world's finest knife-makers.
Ray had used many different types of knives before, all of which proved unsuitable for Bushcraft. So, over a period of six years, he designed one which would meet all of his demands. He has now been using this knife for well over two decades. It is expertly crafted from O1 High Carbon Tool Steel, which is strong, sharpens to a very fine edge, and has a full tang sculpted scale handle in birds eye maple.
Due to a limited supply of knives, we regret to say that the Woodlore Knife is no longer available to purchase. As such, Ray Mears recommends the alternative Ray Mears Bushcraft Knife, produced by Emberleaf Workshops. Hand-made in the UK in small numbers, the Ray Mears Bushcraft Knife is based very closely on the design of the Woodlore Knife, and is sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
